It is up to each individual to do his or her work upon the path. It is not possible for someone else to do your work for you, just as it is not possible to get rich by counting your neighbors coins. The purpose of this site is help you to build a spiritual practice of your own and to connect with like minded seekers on the Buddhist Path.
 
There are Seven Tools of Transformation
Each of these tools is part of an effective spiritual practice which allows for you to train your heart mind and thereby to attain Enlightenment. Each day brings us the opportunity to enjoy our spiritual practice. When we wish to build a home, we use different tools for different tasks. It is the same when building our spiritual practice. We listen and learn and put our learning into action. The first tool is Right Speech. It is not difficult to put this into action. Simply begin to speak positively and to affirm love and kindness and to insure that your speech does not bring harm or suffering to yourself or others.
The next tool is Journaling. In Journaling we begin to keep track of the transformation of our consciousness.

Then comes Goal Setting & Planning. This is one tool because Goals require plans and plans with no goals do not usually yield results. Our primary goal is Enlightenment. We may have other goals as well.

Then we learn to positively use the tool of Contemplation. As we find phrases, teachings, poems, and pictures which help to elevate our consciousness, we place them in our journal. The next tool is

Another wonderful too is Visualization, which is to see the positive result of whatever we are aiming toward.

The powerful tool of Spiritual Mind Treatment, which is a five step process is also called Affirmative Prayer.

Finally we come to the most important tool which is Meditation. Meditation has powerful transformative effects, especially when used daily.
